Families of students with special needs 14-22 years of age.

Learn about transition to independent living with support services.

This workshop will help families of individuals living with special needs (autism, Down syndrome, Fragile X, and other special needs) plan for the time your loved one wants or need to move out of the family home.  The instructors will share successful approaches to independence that have been used  by DFW families.

You will leave with a workbook of information to plan your approach. There will be Meet-Up opportunities for discussion.

This a good way to meet other families interested in independent living with supports.
