Welcome to the CPSH website!

Whether you are an elected official or an employee of the local, state, or federal government, you are an important partner working to create living options for people with disabilities.

There are 250,000+ adults in North Texas who are unable to live (completely) independently.  Each of these individuals has at least 4 other adults whose lives are impacted by caring for them. These numbers are reflected across the state of Texas.

The role of government is to protect the rights of the people.  People living with disabilities have the right to live in our community in the housing option of their choice with the supports they need to be safe, learn, work and be good neighbors.

As someone who works in government, you have the power to share the needs of people with disabilities with others and make the necessary changes to laws, statutes, and regulations that prevent these citizens from living their best lives.
