Welcome to the CPSH Website!

Whether you are an elected official or an employee of the local, state, or federal government, you are an important partner in the work of North Texas to create more living options for adults living with intellectual/developmental disabilities or social challenges.

There are 97,000 adults in North Texas who are unable to live (completely) independently.  Each of these individuals has at least 4 other adults whose lives are impacted by caring for the individuals.

The role of government is to protect the rights of the people.  People living with disabilities have the right to live in our community in the housing option of their choice and the supports they need to be safe, learn, work and be good neighbors.

As someone who works in government, you have the power to share the needs of people with disabilities with others and make the necessary changes to laws, statutes, and regulations that prevent these citizens from living their best lives.

CPSH would be happy to discuss this with you in more detail. Please select the yellow Contact button on the right side of the screen.
