8/7/15 Project Independence Parents/Future Residents Meeting

On Friday, 8/7/15, parents interested in Project Independence for their adult children met to discuss training needs for their adult children as these adults venture into independent living, with supports as necessary.  Topics included safety, socialization and transportation.  The parents had many creative ideas for how their children can live their best lives, as independently as possible.  While the parents were defining training needs, the future residents were playing putt-putt and enjoying pizza.

Any parent and future resident is invited to these events after the parent has attend a Project Independence Community Meeting.  The next meeting is on September 13, 2015. More information is here.
